![]() ![]() There, I started climbing Les Deux Alpes but turned back about halfway because it was getting late and I still had to cycle back to Le Bourg d'Oisans. Via the Col de Sarenne (a hidden pearl and too little known to many cyclists) I descended to Lac du Chambon. ![]() The climb by bike also went flawless with beautiful weather and despite the crowds of cars and other cyclists a beautiful climb. ![]() This way, I could enjoy the beautiful surroundings and views and take pictures. A tough hike of almost 35 km that had to serve as a warm-up for the bike ride the next day. The day before I cycled up the Alpe d'Huez I first walked the mountainįrom the campsite in Bourg d'Oisans I hiked all the way to the top, picked up my hiking license in the Tourist Office and hiked back down. ![]()
